The Company is the leading market for cassava roots in the country with its source of supply reaching out to all the major cassava producing areas of the country, including the Niger basin areas of Kwara and Niger States, and the Benue Basin States of Nassarawa, Kogi and Benue.

Our cassava root suppliers are mainly the thousands of peasant cassava farmers in all these areas whose total output are still inadequate for our needs. We therefore still have to augment the ever short supply of cassava by engaging in large scale mechanized cassava farming.

Just as our cassava suppliers are precious to us, so also are our starch customers. All our customers both small and big are treated with the same level of service and commitment. We appreciate all of them because they are the ones that are keeping us in business. Our major objective is to ensure that these customers are satisfied.

Our starch is produced to the highest approved standard and is very competitive at the international starch market. An estimated 100,000 metric tons of the national demand for starch is mainly imported from overseas. Therefore in the short term, the main market of the company is the local market. The available market when compared with the current under-supply of cassava starch clearly underscores the enormity of the supply gap. Unfortunately, the gap is not about being closed yet because cassava farming is still far from meeting the requirements of large volume processors like us.

Cassava starch has also become the preference of most customers because of its advantages over the Corn Starch.
